We are a family of 6. Just a mama with her 5 munchkins. We are victims of domestic violence. As of 2023 I was able to obtain a permanent restraining order from their father and full custody with no visitation.

Due to criminal cases he is on sex offender list and on probation. He is also on a GPS monitor. In October they contacted me that he is getting ready to come off the GPS monitoring sooner rather than the original timing for next Nov. My kids are freaking out. They already hardly go outside without me and can’t even attend school in person, they have to do online because of the effects of the level of trauma they’ve experienced. 

Without hesitation I know the best thing is for my kids and I is to move as far as possible. I have been trying for almost 3 months to make this move happen. I have a section 8 voucher that i can utilize to acquire housing. Also, i am working with two organizations, CTI who is shipping our stuff and Jeanie Geiger who is transporting my car to help me move. I will need to rent a car and drive us. I can’t find an organization to help me pay for it. So I am unsure of how to pay for this rental. Either way I cannot afford daily expenses, bills, Christmas, and a rental car. I have nothing for Christmas and did not sign up for programs because I wasn’t supposed to still be here. I am praying that I can make this move happen the week of the 15th. The longer we are here the more complicated the future looks for my kids. It’s too late for a lot of sign ups here and I cannot sign up for anything in the new location because I’m not even living there yet.

Not sure what to ask for but anything will help! Even prayers to help me keep them safe.
