My name is Tharindu, and I’m writing from Colombo, Sri Lanka, with a humble and heartfelt request for support during one of the most difficult times in my life.

Last November, my father was involved in a serious car accident that left him paralyzed. Since then, I became his full-time caregiver and had to take extended unpaid leave from work. Sadly, he passed away last month, and I used all my remaining savings for his medical care and funeral expenses.

Now, I’m facing a new challenge. My young son has just been selected for Grade 1 at school—a milestone every parent dreams of. However, I am unable to afford the school admission fee, registration, necessary donations, and education packs required for his enrollment. The total cost is around $1,930, and I have no income at this moment.
