Hello, I’m Neranjana, a young woman from Sri Lanka trying to stand on my own feet.
Right now, I live in a rented room in Colombo while working small jobs to cover my daily needs. Life hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced many challenges, emotionally and financially, and despite all my efforts, I haven’t been able to secure a permanent home.
My parents are also going through their own hardships and are not in a position to help me financially. That’s why I carry this journey alone—with courage, hope, and faith in kind hearts.
As a woman, safety, stability, and independence are essential. My dream is simple: to build a small, peaceful place of my own—a place where I can feel safe, continue my work, and live with dignity.
