As a working mother of 3, I manage things pretty good for us. Somehow, with my company being bought out and losing hours, we are very short this month. I desperately need help with my rent and with some groceries for the next 2 weeks. Typically I can ask for government assistance in these hard moments, but since they decided to shut down, I have no where else to turn. When made a post for Christmas assistance, I never would have imagined being in the position that I am now. We do not get food stamps, or qualify for assistance year round. Only when the check stubs prove that I did not earn enough, then I can get government assistance, once a year. Now that it is not available, idk who to turn to. My parents have both passed on … We lost my mother this year in June. This year has been a challenge in the biggest way ever, that I was never prepared for. I’m a believer and I’m praying that God will send the right person to bless me out of this situation. I try to give more than I ever take, I work in healthcare for that reason alone. Just sometimes, we also need a helping hand as well. I hope this post touches you in some way, and if you can’t donate or help, thank you for taking time to read my need.
