I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope, even though this year has been overwhelming. I am a single parent of two incredible little boys, ages 5 and 12, who are my entire world. They have been my rock and my reason for fighting through leaving a domestic violence situation. Their love and laughter keep me going every day, even when life feels impossible.
This year, I was suddenly laid off, and I am struggling to provide even the basics for my boys—let alone a joyful Christmas. I know I’ve missed all the usual deadlines, but I am desperately asking for a Christmas miracle. My boys deserve to wake up to a season of love and wonder, and I want to give them that magic, despite our hardships.
