I posted a week ago but just realized I didn’t give enough info ,so here I go with that. To start with ,it all started back last year. I under went my first brain surgery for anyurism, I was going through healing stage , about a month after I came home I started feeling tired and unable to get enough rest, so I went back to my dr.with a scan being done he came in the room and ask me how u have been feeling so I told him, and that’s when he said that we have a couple new problems and it’s not looking good. He went in to say I now have 2 new anyurisms and they are growing really fast, and we have got to do surgery asap, so he makes my appointment and we start over with brain bypass and trapment. I went into the hospital ready to get all this behind me and start with my normal life. When I was put to sleep I could walk I could run , talk and use my arm and hand. When I woke up that had been taken from me. The dr came in and talked to me, said I had had a stroke during surgery. No no no , how could this be, I’m to young for this, which at the time I was 47, and have a 13 year old son at home , very active in all sports at school. I stayed in hospital for almost 6 weeks. When I came home I went to therapy, 3 times a week and one day while there my blood pressure got so high and I was feeling like I wasn’t going to make it. By the time I got home my face was so swelled it looked like it might bust, I had a high temp, so I went to e.r. there they flew me to big hospital, for sepsis, and brain infection. There I went through another surgery, where the right side of my bone flap was removed.2 more infections and a brain shunt surgery then sepsis again and 2 more brain surgeries later. Anyways I’m still unable to walk and use my arm and hand. I have severe nerve damage in my leg and it causes severe pain. Going through all this my son has been there to help me with whatever I needed help with. He has put his life in hold for me and that’s so unfair to him. His sports has became hardly even plays. He likes ves to hunt but want go unless his big brother is down so he can stay with me. We had talked about nursing home for me but that’s not anything he wants to talk about, he said he would stop whatever he had to before he puts me in nursing home. Here it is my son taking care of me when it should be other way around. I feel so guilty and no good for this. And he has not questioned me about Christmas for him. I can’t afford it , just another let down. And all he wants is some new clothesal and shoes. He really could use some camo hunting clothes. I can’t stand to put him through anymore disappointment. The least I could do is have a Christmas with a few things to surprise him with, put a smile on his face for a little while anyways. He still a child and tho he say he understands, still I know it hurts him . He deserves so much more than I give him. It would make me the happiest woman alive if I could somehow someway give him a Christmas and see a smile on his face. If any of you should feel in ur heart to help me with this Christmas for him God knows I would appreciate it so so big. God keeps me here for a reason. And I know he will use other people to work their way to us. If anyone would like to help in anyway I will then give the information needed, meaning clothes size and shoe sizes. Also I can or bring de documents to what I’m saying us the agid honest truth. I would like to thank you all in advance. Prayers always needed. Plz help me make a t possible.
