Im requesting help this year for me and my family of 4.my wife received ssi but they cut it down from 824 to 223 saying I made to much money in August. I just tried to pick up extra shifts to get ahead. The end result was no Thanksgiving and from the way things are going no Christmas either. I’m hoping to get help getting my 10 yr old and 14 year old something this year since Thanksgiving was ramen noodles and grill cheese. It’s been rough I’m barely making rent, car payments,insurance,gas. It’s a uneasy feeling to try to buy food but make life or death decisions can I get this will I be able to get gas to make it to work. Sometimes I feel hopeless. But my pack keeps me going with that it’s ok dad tomorrow is a new day attitude. Even if I receive no help thanks for letting me vent that out.
