Thank you for reading this request. My husband and I are disabled and requesting assistance with our past due utilities. We were victims of a terrible flood the end of September of this year and suffered damage to our vehicle and mold growth in our home. The remediation costs were high and were told we did not qualify for any flood assistance. Our past due balance is close to $1,200. My husband is on oxygen and it’s critical to keep our electric on at all times. I understand that many people are facing financial problems, especially with Christmas being so close. Any amount is appreciated greatly. Also, non-financial assistance is great as it may free up additional money for us to put toward our utility bill. All consideration is greatly appreciated.
