2Hands is not, and has no plans to become, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization. While many have urged us to pursue this designator to imply more ‘Credibility’, we want you to know that there are not many places you can go to find more ‘Credibility’ than 2Hands. We have one goal…… To connect everyday people and families in need with everyday people and families who can help….. and work tirelessly in this endeavor.
2Hands, unlike many non-profit organizations that pay high salaries despite their claimed non-profit status, relies on coffee can donations from the very volunteers who manage the postings and connections we receive daily.
We run no ads and make no profit from the operation of 2Hands. We maintain this resource without expectations of thanks or recognition but simply because it needs to be done. Which is the mind-set all should have when helping each other either through 2Hands, or in everyday life.
