I am requesting rental assistance because I am at immediate risk of losing my housing after several unexpected setbacks that have made it difficult to keep up with rent. My income has been unstable while managing ongoing health recovery, and despite spending hours contacting agencies, calling 211, and completing every application and process I’ve been directed to, I have not been able to secure timely help. I have been in communication with SSI regarding my case, but those processes take time, and I am facing urgent deadlines now. I am doing everything I can to stay safely housed, yet I cannot cover my rent on my own at this moment. Any assistance would prevent displacement and give me the stability I need while I continue working toward longer-term solutions.
