My family of 5 needs help relocating to prevent homelessness. Our landlord informed us this fall that after eight years, our lease would not be renewed at the end of December. We don’t have enough funds to pay for relocation costs that we weren’t able to save for.
I’ve struggled to find work in my community since coming out as a trans person. I have received multiple threats, as have family members, and our house has been vandalized.
Luckily, my spouse and I have both found gainful employment and have been accepted to rent a home in a welcoming city. Our 3 kids, all very bright and talented artists, are eager to start a new chapter.
If you can help my family afford to pay for move-in costs and a rental moving truck, it will change the course of our lives. Without help, we will have nowhere to go.
