My name is dilshan and I am reaching out with a heavy heart. Our home, which was everything to my mother and younger sister, was completely destroyed by devastating floods. In just a matter of hours, the waters took away the place we called home — our shelter, our memories, and our sense of safety.
My mother has worked her entire life to give us a roof over our heads. My little sister, who is still young, now has nowhere safe to sleep, study, or grow up. We are currently staying with relatives, but we cannot burden them forever. Rebuilding our home feels impossible without help.
We are not asking for much — just enough to give my mother and sister a safe place to call home again. Every single donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to rebuilding our lives.
