Donation Appeal Letter
Subject: Requesting assistance to build a new house and take care of my family
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Narada Gunasekara, a 42-year-old father of three, living with my wife and children in a rented house in Tissamaharama, Sri Lanka. Despite my efforts to support my family, we are currently facing severe financial difficulties.
My youngest daughter, who is 4 years old, has been prescribed a special diet by the doctors due to her weight loss, but due to lack of funds, we are unable to provide it consistently. In addition, my two elder children (aged 15 and 13) are in school and urgently need books and other essentials for their education.
I do not receive a daily income, and the little money I earn is not enough to meet our daily needs or pay the rent. I have explored options like making money online, but I do not have a phone or laptop that would allow me to pursue this path.
I am unable to buy a plot of land with the money I earn from my day job and we do not have the initial capital to spend around Rs. 4500000 to buy a new plot of land and build a new house on it. Therefore, I humbly request financial assistance to assist with the following:
Provide special food for my youngest daughter
Purchase school supplies for my two elder children
Cover daily living expenses and rent
Buy a new plot of land and build a new house on it
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be a lifeline for our family. Your generosity will help us become self-sufficient and ensure a better future for our children.
