This past Sept. 30th, my husband was heading home on the Light Rail around 3:30 p.m., and at that time, all the teenagers from the High School on Central were being let out, and, well, what do you know, a fight broke out on the train, and a teen was being jumped by several other teenagers. As crowded as the train was, my husband tried to separate the teenagers since everything was happening right next to where He was seated. At that point, another teenager came from the side and sucker-punched my husband; he fell unconscious, and by the time he regained himself, he was on the floor of the train being kicked… Well, the train stopped at 7th Ave and Camelback, and a cop arrived and took statements. My husband later ended up in the ER with a broken jaw, sat for about a month with his mouth wired shut, on a liquid diet, eating through a straw, log story short, we filled out the county victim claim; we will proceed with official charges for the 18yo teenager who did it. (We have the police report) But since then, my husband has been out of work, and every bill is well overdue at this point; we are asking for help with keeping a roof over our heads and, if by any chance, any good lawyer who can take a pro bono case, please and thank you.
