I’m honestly scared right now. Because of the domestic violence we’ve been through with my ex husband, my two small kids and I were already planning to move in December, especially knowing he could be getting out anytime between December and February. But then I found out my address had been leaked on the dark web through the courts, I just couldn’t take the chance of waiting any longer. I had to get my children somewhere safe.
So we packed up and made an emergency move from Rio Rico to Buckeye, Arizona. Now I’m here with just one other mom trying to unload an entire moving truck, get my vehicle transported, and finish everything before the truck has to be returned tonight.
I’m completely overwhelmed, and I simply cannot afford another day with the truck. I’m desperately trying to come up with $300 in emergency assistance to help us finish this move.
I wasn’t financially prepared to leave this early, but when it comes to protecting my children, I couldn’t wait and hope everything would be okay.
I’m not asking for anything extra. I’m just trying to get my kids and our belongings somewhere safe so we can finally have some peace.
