Now 19 years online… Over 72,800 people assisted through 2Hands. We thank you.
As 2025 comes to a close, it once again confirms what we have known for the past 19 years: kindness and courage truly reign.
In 2026, nearly 800 individuals who needed a hand were able to find support through 2Hands.org. But this is not about 2Hands—it is about you. Those who had the strength and courage to recognize they needed help and to reach out, and those who recognized one of life’s greatest blessings: stepping outside the comfort of the everyday to extend a hand to someone else. One hand reaching out to another, lifting them up.
We also understand that many of you asked for help but were not able to find it through 2Hands. To those individuals, we want to say this sincerely and humbly: we truly wish it had worked for you. Please know that your reaching out mattered, and the fact that not everyone receives help is a hard unavoidable truth.
While 2Hands will not be accepting any new postings until October 1, 2026, we strongly encourage you to contact 211, which can help connect you with resources available in your local community.
God’s blessings, The Volunteers of 2Hands.org
2Hands.org is a unique platform dedicated to bridging the gap between people in need and those who may be able to help. By fostering a community of giving, it allows individuals facing challenges to connect with others who possess the resources, skills, or support they need. With over 72,800 people already connected through us, 2Hands.org has become a long standing tool for fostering human connection and empowering people to help one another in meaningful and impactful ways. Whether through small acts of kindness or larger forms of assistance, our platform lives so that help may just be a few clicks away.
2Hands.org runs no ads, makes no profit and is run by a few volunteers. We work daily to keep the platform operating and to connect those seeking to help others with those who have found themselves with no where to turn. We maintain this resource without expectations of thanks or recognition but simply because it needs to be done. Which is the mind-set all should have when helping each other either through 2Hands, or in everyday life. Matthew 6:3-4 But when you give to someone in need, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. GET TO KNOW THE BIBLE

This news piece defines why we exist…
We pay tribute to a beloved long-time volunteer who recently passed following a heroic fight against cancer. From her kitchen stool, she connected thousands of individuals in need with generous hearts offering to lend a helping hand. Her legacy of compassion and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
