Hi, my name is Jamie. — I’ve never done anything like this before. I’m a disabled mom of twin boys who are turning 16 this December, and their Sweet 16 and Christmas fall in the same month.

This year has become the hardest year of our lives. Because of my husband’s situation, we’ve fallen into serious financial hardship, and we’re even at risk of losing the home we bought just 3 years ago. I’m doing everything I can, but I’m asking for help because my boys are my whole world.

They are good young men who love basketball and are excited to start working toward their driver’s licenses. They’ve been trying to stay strong, but I can see the worry in their eyes.
