Hi! I’m a a bit of a pickle I wouldn’t have imagined ever being in the situation, even looking back to two years ago. I wish I knew then what was about to unfold. Here’s a little backstory, I married my high school sweetheart in 2008. We started dating in 2002. We have two incredible children together. In 2020, he started traveling for the union. It was hard only seeing him every 2 weeks but we agreed it was temporary and the money was good. It took me years to find out that he was using that time to pretend like he was single and became a alcoholic. Fastforward to the end November of 2024, he left the house intoxicated to cheat on me. If that’s not bad enough when our teenage son called looking for him He told him exactly where he was and what he was doing. I ended it that night and within a week he moved out. I had no reason to think he would neglect his responsibilities and stop paying bills. He financially took care of me since we graduated high school. The first couple of weeks he’d give me a little money weekly but it wasn’t enough to cover 2 bills let alone all of them. Not to mention his children. Thinking he was just mad and would start helping I had no choice but to take a loan out on my car. That was the only way I was able to pay all of the bills, put food on the table and cover their Christmas and extracurricular activities. The money he gave me was very periodic until it seized entirely. By June I was in over my head and could not longer make it paying for everything with the added car loan. I ended up losing my car in July. The next month I lost our house We’ve moved into a apartment that’s walking distance from my job. That’s a true blessing. But I can’t get enough hours to cover everything On scrap by each month paying everything at the last possible minute. I need help getting a reliable vehicle. If I could only get that then I’d be able to get another job if not a better one. I hate to have to ask for help but I don’t know what else to do.
