Hello,
This is my first post please bear with me. I am a mom of 3 wonderful children two boys and a girl, due to health issues and everything that goes on with that, my childern have peiced together that chances are there will be no christmas because mom and dad simply can not afford due to health and bills.
My oldest is a 16 boy who loves to read, play video games on roblox, his wonderful and bright, he is homeschooled and works ontop of doing his school work. All his asked for Christmas is his own laptop and wireless headphones so he doesnt have to use moms “old” laptop.
My middle is a 14 girl who is learning and teaching her self nails and cosmetology because thats what she wants to do after high school, She has asked for nail tips of any shape, all things nails basically, and all things hair.
My youngest is a 9 yr old boy who is very bright, loves playing his video games just like his brother he is also been asking for a laptop and headphones.
I dont expect anyone to get these things because yes I know its a parent’s job to get them or they simply go without. Their dad works away from home and the “old” bearly running laptop is how they stay connected with their dad when his gone.
Life turned upside down for us 2 yrs ago when a simple doc appt turned into a world-wind of more doc appts, surgeries and my kids almost lossing their mom. The battle is only half over and my kids have stayed strong threw it all. When all I wanted was them to be kids I tired so hard to hide it all from them but my kids are smart they figured it out. This year is the first year I had to set them down and tell them there may not be Christmas. I missed all the cut off dates for the Christmas help in our town and the towns that surround us do to being sick.
