I am a single mom of 5 children. This past year has been extremely hard — we went through homelessness, and after a long struggle we finally got a home of our own. I’m currently on short-term disability, and the little money I get has to go toward rent, utilities, and basic bills, which I can barely cover. I’m grateful we have a roof over our heads, but I have nothing left for Christmas.
I’m doing everything I can, but it breaks my heart that I can’t give my kids even a small holiday after everything they’ve been through. Any help with toys, clothing, or simple gifts would mean the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
