My car broke down, it is repaired and in the parking lot of the repair shop. They’re holding it until I can pay. I have recently left an abusive marriage and am going through a brutal divorce. I had a health crisis last month and had to leave my job, they didn’t offer extended leave. I took my car in for repair before this. My daughter is staying with family so she can get to school. Although we get to hang out, we miss one another terribly. Her and I have always been in this thing together. My ex is using this against me legally to try and prove me unfit on top of stalling legal proceedings so he can evade splitting marital assets. I have been looking for work. My daughter and I can do this, I just need help.
