Christmas seems impossible

This is definitely a tough year for a lot of us. I hope someone might notice my post. The holiday season always brought me tons of happiness. It was never about the gifts. This year my son is 12, he is definately having a difficult time balancing middle school. I have seen his confidence lessen this year and it is heartbreaking. This is probably the last year of believing in the magic of Christmas. His list is short this year. Honestly I have never let on when there was a struggle. If we were financially strapped he didn’t know. As he gets older it’s not so easy to hide that I can’t afford the sneakers he wants or a game that everyone is talking about. I was always savvy when it came to getting the “nice” brands of things. I love eBay and second hand stores but in 7th grade I just don’t think they will make the cut, at least not as a Christmas present. He has asked for either Air Jordan sneakers or Nike Air max. He is a size 4. He also has asked for a new xbox “pro”remote. Also this is just a wish list we have never used his wish list as something that he is always going to receive everything on it. He is a size 12 in clothes soon to be a 14. (I try to stay ahead) His favorite color is cyan, He loves board games, science, animals, magnets and video games. And he still cuddles his stuffed animals❤️ Overall he is a really happy kid. I am blessed to have such an amazing child. Happy holidays 2 hands angels. This is my place for sending lots of love and positive energy. To anyone reading, you are awesome, I look forward to being on the other side and granting someone else’s holiday wish.
