I am a single mom in a wheelchair due to a recent accident that caused me to lose both my job and my vehicle. My child has special education needs, and we are struggling to keep him in school because we are too far to walk and not near reliable transit. Without outside help, his attendance will continue to suffer.
We are currently behind on $1600 rent and at risk of eviction by the end of December. I am actively applying for work every day, but I am running out of time and resources to keep us stable.
Right now we urgently need help with:
• Rent + Late Fees for the month of December
• A Christmas gift or stocking items for my child so the day isn’t empty
We have no family support we can turn to, and I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my child. Any help, no matter how small, would lift a huge weight off us right now.
