We, my wife and I found out that she needs surgery and has been in and out of work. I work and do what I can, but we have fallen behind on the bills – making promises to pay and juggling the finances to make ends meet. She’s been in and out of work with extreme pain issues and we’ve managed to find some of the causes. For this instance, we have been waiting for the surgery for about a month. I wish I could say we have a safety net savings, and it’s in our plans, but we do not. The recovery time is short, two weeks according to the doctor, but still . . ., rent is due, the utilities are behind, and our transportation is falling apart. Our rent is $1,800 w/late fees – an eviction notice will be served in three days and we need to pay our utilities on top of that; which is another $1,000.00. I’ve come up with about 1,800.00 this month, but it’s already gone towards past payments. We’ve contacted many organizations in our state, but I’m afraid we are at the point of our wits-end. I would do anything for my wife and all I want is for her to be healthy and happy. I pray that someone can find it in their heart to reach out and touch our lives. Amen – Stay Blessed
