We are a struggling family my wife and I work on the streets of Ann Arbor selling newspapers for a nonprofit organization called ground cover we have to walk to and from wherever we go our little ones are always out with us while we work while the older kids are in school and more than most of the time our whole family is outside while we sell the newspapers we were homeless for a few years and we finally got a 2 bedroom apartment 8 months ago and pay $1800 a month plus utilities we are in desperate need of a vehicle so our children don’t have to endure the cold weather again it’s very heartbreaking to see hear and have to explain that if we don’t get out here and sell the papers we will lose our home if we had a form of transportation we would be able to get better jobs my children would not have to be outside in the cold and my family would strive better the stress and anxiety would start to deplete we would be able to work more get more food at one time and not go out shopping “100” times a week walking a mile there and back with infants we are doing everything we know how to stay afloat my wife and I both suffer from mental health issues and we are exhausted from stress and depression worrying about what’s next we really appreciate everything anyone can help with thank you and god bless you all
