My name is Bev, and I’m asking for assistance. I’m going into this holiday season with some financial struggles. I lost my daughter last August and can barely remember getting through the holidays last year. I was a mess. This year has been a struggle for us, but I managed to pull myself up out of my hole in August and have been trying to get myself together. After the passing of her anniversary date, I had a burst of motivation and was able to get back to work, and I even enrolled in some college classes. It has been catch-up for me ever since. I was in a pretty bad state of depression and let a lot of things fall behind due to my inability to work consistently. Now that I’m back to work, I’m using every penny to go to bills. I’m making a dent, but it’s a small one that seems to be a never-ending one, and I can’t catch my breath. I really need to catch up on my rent, which I keep staying at 2 months behind, just enough to avoid eviction. And my car is behind, just enough to keep it out of repossession. Not to include utilities, etc. I currently have one adult daughter that lives at home with me, and 3 granddaughters, ages 10, 2, and a 2-week-old. The newest was born on 11/12/25, and she came a month early. Thankfully, she’s home safe and healthy, just tiny. She truly holds a special place in my heart, as she was just what we needed after this last year. I’m asking for help with anything at all to go towards our bills, just to get me ahead a little, and to alleviate any stress off of our family. I’m working to catch up but can’t seem to get there fast enough. Truly, anything will help me, even clothes/diapers for the girls for Christmas. I can provide any documentation necessary for my bills, so you can have proof. If you would like to see my past due rent statement or any utility bills, I’m not too proud to provide them at this point. I’m continuing to pray for strength and some relief from this worry. Anything will help, and thank you so much for reading. Happy Holidays and God Bless!
