My name is Qunda , and I wanted to share a little about my family and why we are asking for help this holiday season. I recently completed my cancer treatments and underwent major surgery, which has made it difficult for me to work and keep up with basic needs on my limited income. With ongoing health issues, car repairs, and everyday expenses, things have been very overwhelming.

 

I am the guardian of my two goddaughters, ages 7 and 12, after their mother passed away from chronic diabetes, kidney failure, and COVID-19. I’m doing my best to support them, and I would love for them to have a joyful Christmas despite everything we’ve been through.

 

7-year-old girl: loves Bluey; wishes for an educational

tablet, kids’ power scooter, Nike shoes (Size 4 Big Kids), and clothes (14/16–16/18).

12-year-old girl: wishes for an Apple or Android cell phone, OMG Dolls, Justice outfits (12/14 Teen Girls), Nike

shoes (Size 4 Big Kids), a kids’ power scooter, and gift cards.

 

I would also be grateful for gift cards from Walmart, Aldi, Amazon, Sam’s Club, Food Lion, or Kroger to help with

essentials.

 

My sister, who lives with us, is expecting a baby girl, and we are in need of newborn items such as pampers, wipes, bottles, baby sleepers, blankets, and clothing.
