I am a single mother of three children ages 14-16-17, and I am asking for Christmas assistance due to serious hardships my family is facing.
This past year has been very difficult. I left a domestic violence situation, and my children and I are still recovering from what we went through. I am also a cancer survivor, and even though I work hard every day, we are still trying to rebuild our lives.
I work full-time and start my day at 3 AM. I often do not get home until the evening because of traffic. I also attend college full-time in my last year. Even with my job and school, it is still hard to keep up with bills, food, and basic needs.
My children are doing their best. My daughters are honor students, and my son works hard in his special education classes. They have been through so much, yet they stay strong.
I am also very worried about our safety. The person who harmed my children and me is going to be released from prison soon, and he knows where we live. I need to move for our safety, but I do not have the income to do so right now.
I am asking for help this Christmas so my children can have a happy holiday. They deserve joy and comfort after everything we have survived. Any support with gifts, clothing, or essentials would mean so much to us.
