Homeless single mom w/ 2 boys, 1 autistic
MASSACHUSETTS / by 698753
Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day for reading my posting. Three weeks ago we were forced to move due to behaviors my autistic son has been exhibiting, & with this a lot of unexpected expenses arose.
My sons are 10, & 14. My 14 yo is autistic & just as thrilled with candy since he barely plays with toys. My 10 yo is my first priority atm.
He is really into anime ( One Piece, Dragon Ball, & Jujujitsu Kaisin particularly), Five nights at Freddy’s, & gaming (Roblox, & Nintendo classics like Mario, Pokemon, Kirby etc).
He is an honor roll student, enjoys reading and would love Mangas – the one piece / jujitsu kaisan books. (He has One piece 1-12). I think he would also enjoy goosebumps.
He is a collector of action figures, Pokémon cards, and plush stuffys.
He really wants Dragon Ball Z action figures he is collecting the dragon stars brand. They are easily found on Amazon.
He is also collecting pokemon sets, but “ crown zenith” & “151” are his favorite sets at the moment.
My autistic son loves soft items, like oversized pillows, bean bags, etc.
A canopy like item Over his bed would be fantastic! I believe the name of the as seen on TV one is “Dream tent”.
He is huge into puzzles and memory games, but where he loses pieces he plays them
on the iPad, so Apple gift store gift cards would be wonderful as well.
One toy or game that would be so great for him would be cornhole!
I know that it is so late, but between with these unexpected events and their father being out of work starting a month ago, it ended up being too late to apply for programs in my area. I am continuously looking out, but I cannot find anything. So we are not signed up with any agencies for any Christmas assistance whatsoever.
Thank you again for taking the time out to read my post, I know it is a bit long. I just wanted to be honest with my situation as embarrassing as it is. Have a happy holiday season!!!!
