Hoping to bring Christmas joy to my two girls

This is really hard for me to write, but I’m reaching out with a humble and hopeful heart.
After being homeless and living with family for over a year, we finally moved into our own home. It’s a blessing I prayed for every single day — but between deposits, necessities, and starting completely over in a new city, our savings are gone. We gave everything we had just to get a safe place to call home.
Now Christmas is right here… and all the local Christmas assistance sign-ups are already closed. I’ve tried everywhere I could think of. As much as I hate to say it, I’m struggling to see how Christmas is going to happen for my girls this year.
I have two daughters, ages 10 and 12. They’ve been through so much this past year without complaining, without understanding why life has been so hard, yet still showing so much strength and grace. As a mom, it breaks my heart feeling like I might not be able to give them even a small piece of Christmas joy.
If anyone feels it on their heart to help — even with one small gift for each girl — it would mean more than I can put into words. I’m not asking for anything big, just a little kindness and a little hope during a season that’s been really heavy for us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Even prayers and kind words mean so much right now. 🤍
