Hello, my name is Susan. I am a single mother of three beautiful boys. On November 18, our home started on fire, which is still under investigation, but they do believe it was started from a lightning strike. we have lost everything including our family pet. we was connected with the Red Cross where we was putting a hotel for two days and then really nothing after that. They they give us a voucher to be able to get three outfits each. I took every penny I had and rented a small two bedroom for us. I was currently diagnosed with progressing MS my work hours have been cut due to a lot of doctor visits. I desperately need help with Christmas for my boys. before the fire, I had already purchased stuff for the boys For Christmas, which was lost in the fire. my oldest son is Jackson. He is 16 years old with autism. Tyler is 15 and such a bright boy. He plays football, basketball, and is an awesome baseball player. Joey is 10 and he could light up anybody’s world. He’s always willing to learn a helping hand and wants to be the president of the United States one day. I’m a proud mom. I love these boys. We are needing general help. The boys need school clothes in school shoes. They need blankets for their beds sheets for their beds. Hygiene stuff, they love books and just normal things teenage boys likes. They need winter coats were expected to get snow in a couple days. People have given us a few clothing, donations and some household furniture but most of the donations don’t fit the boys we do with what we have. My two older boys are being bullied in school for wearing the same clothes over and over yet I do wash them. I just don’t think other kids understand what we’re going through. I have reached out to over 15 to 20 different organizations and I never knew Christmas program started back in July and sign ups end in October cause I’ve never had to reach out for help like this. I have called churches and local organizations and everybody’s telling me the same thing. Everything is filled up. Someone in my church group had given me this website. They told me to state my needs and maybe somebody could help us. I’m not good at asking for help. Please excuse my poor grammar. And then asking for anything for myself. the main things we are struggling with right now is day-to-day necessities for our home, food, bedding, clothing, shoes. Anything will help out no matter how big or how small. we moved to Ohio in 2017 after I left severe domestic assault relationship. I rebuild my life with my boys and I work very hard to maintain.
