Help Me Build a Safe Home for My Family
Hello, my name is Shashika Dilan, and I am humbly reaching out to kind-hearted individuals for help in a very difficult time. I come from a very poor background, and my family and I are struggling every day to make ends meet. I do not have a permanent job, and the small, irregular work I find is barely enough to cover our basic daily needs.
My biggest dream is to build a small, safe, and decent house where I can live peacefully with my parents. Right now, we live in conditions that are far from ideal—our shelter is unstable and not safe, especially during bad weather. I want to give my parents the dignity and comfort of a real home before it’s too late. They’ve sacrificed so much for me, and now I want to do something meaningful for them.
After researching and calculating costs, I found that I would need approximately $4100 to build a modest, yet comfortable home for us. This includes basic construction materials, labor, and essential fittings. It’s not a large or luxurious house, just a simple one with solid walls and a roof that can protect us.
