I’m reaching out as a mom just trying to make this Christmas a little easier for my four kids. I have a 17-year-old son, a 15-year-old daughter, and two boys who are 13 and 12.

This year has been tough, and instead of focusing on toys or electronics, I told my kids that my main goal was to make their rooms feel comfortable and like their own space. Right now, they only have their beds and one of my boys’ bed frames broke, so his mattress is on the floor. As a mom, it breaks my heart because they deserve to feel settled and safe in their own rooms.

What I’m hoping for this Christmas is help with the basics:

• Undergarments

• Clothes

• Simple room décor

• And if possible, a twin bed frame so my son doesn’t have to keep sleeping on the floor

I’m trying to give them some comfort, some normalcy, and just a little joy during a hard season. Anything helps, and I truly mean that. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping families who really need it.
