I’m a single mom to a 13-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. We recently escaped a dangerous and toxic domestic violence situation, and I’m now trying to keep us afloat on my own. My job in an ESE classroom barely covers our bills, and some days it feels impossible to make ends meet. I hate asking for help, but right now my kids and I really need it.
