Every day that gets closer to Christmas I get more nervous as to whether we will have a good Christmas or not. I have asked for help from a few people but I suppose it’s just a waiting game now. My fear is it will be Christmas Eve and I will have nothing for them.
I have been divorced since May and am now completely on my own and adjusting to a one income household. I am in recovery am have been clean for over 2 years! I have 2 boys ages 5 and 9 and am pregnant with my baby girl. My 9 year old son is autistic as well, which can bring more challenges. I am riding the line of missing any hours at work and rent will not be paid. I cannot keep up with my cell phone and internet bill nor do I have insurance on my car. I work nighttime hours and am balancing my exhaustion with productivity as it is. The plan is to attend school once the baby is born to receive a higher education, in order to provide a better life for us all.
I just want to make sure my boys at the very least can get a couple of things they have asked for. And would like to get caught up on my cellphone/internet bill.
