My social worker referred me to this site to seek out any kind of assistance/help for the holidays , mainly Christmas. I’m a 31 year old female with a 7 yr old son and I also have custody of my two younger siblings , a 16 yr old brother and a 13 year old sister . Our mother passed 07/23/23 from staged 4 breast cancer which led to me having them in my care . We’ve been through a rough few years since our mother has gone such as the home we were staying with at the time our landlord didn’t want to comply and fix our hot water tank which we had not got water on top of numerous of other problems . We then move to a different neighborhood for a fresh start , 6 months later our whole apartment flooded from the unit above us which led us to being displaced and living in a hotel for almost 2 months . The management eventually put us in a new unit and we still dealt with a bunch of issues with the apartment. As of October 1st 2025 we just moved into or new unit starting over from scratch , we came with nothing doing to all of our furniture and belongings either being damaged or stolen . I also recently lost my job for me standing up for myself and believing in what’s right. I’m in need of and looking for Christmas help . The children and I main needs are clothing , coats , boots , hats&gloves , underwear , pajamas , house shoes, bedding , household products such as : tissue , paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaner , body wash etc. we’re all grateful and appreciative of any and everything , I pray that this message reaches the right people .
