Hello angels, I am an airforce veteran father who works 40 hrs a week to try to make ends meet and provide a brighter future for my family. I have 2 kids of my own, along with my wife. My son’s fiance and their 1 yr old are also live under my roof and partially under my care. I personally make too much for any government assistance, but my 2 kids work part time jobs and are striving for full-time positions. They assist as much as they can, but they have their own bills to pay and are learning to be independent. I do visit food banks when I can, but the way the world is, I sometimes feel like I’m facing an uphill battle as a father. What makes the whole situation even more challenging is that I used 1/2 of last Friday’s check to buy freezer food and a ham, and turkey for the holidays, plus a lot of quick things for the younger ones. The night afterwards, my deep freezer burned up, and I lost all of that food. I don’t know what else to do, and I feel a sense of humility in asking for help, but if anyone has the heart and means to assist my family, please know that your kindness would be a beacon of hope for us. I will forever be grateful for your support
