I recently moved my family from New Jersey to Texas in hopes of giving my kids better opportunities as they grow academically and personally. It’s been a big transition for all of us, and while I’m working as much as I can — even taking overtime — nearly everything I earn goes toward housing and school expenses.
I’m doing my best to keep us afloat, but things have been tougher than expected. With Christmas coming up, I’m hoping to make the holidays feel special for my kids, especially after all they’ve sacrificed to support this move.
