My 2018 Nissan pathfinder is needing a new transfer case, possibly a new transmission and the mechanic also mentioned something about a rear axle. It is the only car I have and I cannot afford to trade it and have a car payment again. I’m a mother of 2 and as I mentioned, this is the only car I have. I have been driving it like this for a few months; to work, to get groceries, school runs, and such; but the sounds it’s making seem to be getting louder. Sometimes I’ll rent a car if I need to go anywhere far, I try to stay in town as much as possible. For the transfer case alone I was quoted $2,642. It’s been like this since August and I’d love to be able to get it fixed up I just cannot afford it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this far, God bless!
