I am a disabled grandma raising my 4 year old granddaughter. Both of her parents are addicts. Her father is currently in jail. Her mom, my daughter is currently living with her drug addicted boyfriend. My daughter suffers with mental health issues and addiction. My granddaughter is the sweetest girl ever. I want to give her the world. I am limited due to my disability. I have a part time job but for the last several months I have been able to get more than 1-2 days of work per month. I am very behind on bills and can not afford to buy my granddaughter Brooklyn anything for Christmas. Brooklyn is waiting for an autism evaluation and currently recieves speech and occupational therapy. She loves to build with magnet tiles. She needs help with letter and number recognition so educational toys would be helpful or a tablet to practice. I haven’t been able to file for guardianship yet for this angel. My lawyer said with my reduced work hours I am unable to show the Judge that I can provide for her. If you believe in God please pray that the Lord opens a door for the right job opportunity for me to proceed with guardianship.
