Hello. My name is Tyler, and I’m in a pretty rough spot right now financially. In my recent past, I have overcome living through the system of low income housing, a sober living place when I had nowhere else to live, and even resided at a homeless shelter for a year and two months to build up the resources to move out into a real apartment with an old friend. We both lost our jobs a month ago at a dispensary in Arizona that was incredibly poorly managed and it started to become apparent that we needed to leave before the situation worsened. My roommate is waiting for a new dispensary job to start that he interviewed for and was accepted to. I’m still applying for jobs, and in the meantime, we are working for Doordash and Uber eats to make ends meet. But it’s not going to be enough. Unfortunately, the current debt I owe to my credit card and cash loan is overwhelming. I’m panicking and didn’t know that services like this website existed, but my case manager at the mental health clinic I go to told me about 211 and that website brought me here, and hopefully – into your helping hands.
