Siblings facing homelessness

ARIZONA / Posted 2 days ago by 420060 / New

Hello. I am a 20 years old college student in Arizona. I live off campus in a one bedroom apartment with my baby sister who is 7. My mother has unable to have my sister with her unfortunately so I have been taking care of her for about a year and a half, due to not having any other family.  I have had a job since I was 16 and kept one but I was unfortunately fired in August. I did have an emergency fund for times like this but unfortunately it is very very difficult to find a job in phoenix right now even with my experience. I do start at a new job in a week but I have not been able to pay this months rent which is $1,500 now due to late and court fees. I don’t get assistance from anyone and have not since I took my sister in. I’m asking for help paying it partially paying for my rent for the month of November to keep this roof over our heads. This is the only place that me and my sister have we don’t have anyone else. Literally anything helps, if you can point me In the direction of people or recourses that can help me that would be amazing as well. Thank you for much for your time, attention, and assistance.
