Hi, my name is Paula and I’m a mom in Mesa with a little one at home and another baby on the way. I work at a school, so my hours drop sharply during the holidays, and this month I’m coming up short on rent that’s due on the 4th and I now have a past due notice. I’m doing everything I can — applying for assistance programs, working with my landlord, and planning for January when my hours resume — but I’m still facing a gap I can’t cover alone.
