Hi everyone. I’m reaching out with a humble heart. This past year has been a challenging one. I lost my job due to reasons out of my control and received unemployment for a short period, but it’s since run out. I have been searching for new employment for months now. I did find a job and then I had to have surgery (total thyroidectomy) due to a potentially cancerous nodule growing in size. Surgery was recommended as soon as possible. With that came the need for a couple weeks off so the job didn’t work out for me. I’ve been doing my best to rebuild; taking a few college classes, getting out of a toxic relationship, and focusing on creating a better, more stable life for my kids and me.
I have 2 kids. My son is 14 and my daughter is 9. We lost their father to COVID four years ago in December and the holidays have been especially tough ever since.
Im currently behind on bills. I have 2 more interviews scheduled this week but am hoping to find a little help this Christmas as my funds, if I do obtain one of these jobs will need to go to paying past due bills.
