I am new to the area due to an unfortunate domestic violence situation. I have been having a hard time trying to adapt to my new surroundings with work, lack of transportation, depression from being alone away from everything & everyone I know. I have done CNA work for the past 10 years but I ended up injuring my back so it’s very difficult to help my former clients & residents with their basic needs which makes it hard for me to continue working in that field. I have tried everything possible to work with my back in the condition it is in but after hurricane Helene hit SC myself & my children were sleeping in our car because we lost our home & that made my back even worse. I am afraid I don’t want myself & my children to be homeless. It’s winter time & we would definitely freeze in these conditions. We need financial assistance to help get us back on our feet because although we are down here alone going thru so much we are still in better spirits because we are no longer living in fear! I don’t know if I gave you too much to take in at one time but I’m just ranting on because as a mom, a “SUPERMOM” I have to make a way for us & im becoming worried because I’m running out of ideas for us & I cannot let these kids down!
