Hello, I’m reaching out to ask for assistance as I work to rebuild my life after recently experiencing homelessness.
I was just hired for a new job, which I’m extremely grateful for, but I’m struggling to cover the upfront costs needed to secure housing. I don’t have savings or belongings at this point—I lost everything and am starting over completely.
I’m also a parent to a young child, which makes securing stable housing especially important as I work to rebuild and maintain employment.
At the moment, I don’t have an exact dollar amount to request, but I know the move-in costs (such as deposits, rent, and basic necessities) are more than I’m able to manage on my own right now. I’m actively working and doing everything I can to move forward, but I need help getting past this initial hurdle.
