Hello, I’m a mom to two amazing kids, ages 9 and 7, I’m reaching out because our family has had a really hard couple of months. My daughter had emergency appendix surgery last month and spent a week in the hospital. Then this month I ended up in the hospital myself with kidney stones. I had surgery on Nov. 6, and I’m having another one tomorrow to remove the stent and the stone.
I’ve missed a lot of work from everything happening, and now I’m behind on bills and terrified about Christmas. I’ve always tried to make sure my kids have a good holiday, and this year I just can’t do it alone. It breaks my heart to even ask for help, but I don’t want them to wake up Christmas morning with nothing under the tree.
If anyone has it in their heart to help, even with something small, it would mean the world to us.
