I am a registered nurse whose employment ended unexpectedly 10/31/2025, and I am currently in a difficult financial season. I am also a 61-year-old disabled veteran (60%), doing my best to stay stable while navigating this transition. I have applied for unemployment, but it will not start in time — and I am not yet sure I will be approved. In the meantime, I still have essential bills due, including my mortgage, utilities, car payment, and car insurance.
I do have a new job offer and a confirmed start date, but I must complete two required certification classes before I can begin working. The ACLS class is $265, and the PALS class is $275.
My deadline to complete these classes is November 20, and without help, I will not have the cash flow to meet it. Delaying these classes will delay my ability to start work.
This has been a rough patch, but I am determined to move forward and return to caring for patients. Any assistance toward these class fees would make a direct and immediate difference, helping me start my new job and regain financial stability. I would be sincerely grateful for any support.
