What happens when I request to help a posting?

Let us start by saying thank you. Without people like you who are willing to step outside of their comfort zones and offer a hand of help to a complete stranger who has fallen on hard times, there would be no 2Hands, and to be honest, the world would be a MUCH darker place. Kindness flourishes! Although the news would lead you to believe otherwise.

This outlines the process of helping someone through 2Hands.org

When you have found a posting that you feel you would like to begin a conversation with to see if helping them is a good fit for you, the process all starts with that posting’s six digit ID which you will find on the posting itself, right next to the words Posted By, as shown in the image below. The ID shown below is obviously an example and you would write down the actual six digit ID of the posting you want to help.

After you have written down the six digit posters ID, you will see the wording below at the bottom of every posting for help. Click it when you are ready to request information.

When you click that button, you will be directed to the form to complete which notifies us you are interested in helping a posting. Complete the form making sure the blue six digit posting number AND your email address are correct.

Within 24 hours, we will provide you the contact information (email address) of the person who made the posting. (PLEASE always check your email providers SPAM, BULK or JUNK folders as well as our emails may be routed there as they contain an email address)

When you receive the email from us with their contact information, it is now time to send them an email. Tell them you found their posting on 2Hands.org and would like to start a conversation about offering help.

ASK QUESTIONS! Make sure you feel the information provided is valid and you feel comfortable moving forward with helping them.

Keep in mind, helping a posting does not necessarily mean they have to be in your city. Feel free to browse postings in other states as well. You may just find the perfect fit for your giving heart and with Amazon Pantry, drop shipping and all of the other options available to provide goods to people anywhere, you can make HUGE change to people or families with no where to turn.

Which, you will find, is one of the most rewarding experiences there is.

If you ever have any questions about the process, or anything related to 2Hands.org, please just click the Contact 2Hands button found on the menu and send us a note.

Also, we love nothing more than to hear about successful connections. If helping someone works out for you, PLEASE contact us and tell us about it. It really makes our day and we would love to place it on out testimonials page! Now, we hope this helped and if you are ready……..
