I never imagined I would find myself having to reach out to strangers and ask for financial help, but sometimes life puts us in situations where we have to put our pride aside and ask for a little kindness.

I am reaching out today on behalf of my children’s father, a hardworking man who has always done so much for our children. Unfortunately, he has recently lost his home, and we are doing everything we possibly can to get him back on his feet and make sure our children have the stability and security they deserve.

He is not someone who sits around waiting for things to happen. He works hard, does what he can for our children, and has always tried to provide for them. Seeing him in this position is heartbreaking, especially knowing how much he does for our family.

I wish I were in a position to help more financially. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with some serious physical and mental health challenges that have prevented me from getting back to work as quickly as I had hoped. My health situation is serious, and I have been advised to avoid physically demanding work. But as a mother, watching my children and their father struggle has made me feel desperate to do whatever I can to help.

We have managed to come up with MOST of the money needed for the rent. We are not asking anyone to cover the entire amount. We are simply trying to raise the remaining $500 so we can get through this immediate housing emergency. Utilities are another concern, but we are determined to work through those expenses as we go.

I know times are difficult for so many people, and I understand that not everyone is able to give. But if anyone could spare even a few dollars, it would mean more to us than words can express. Every donation, no matter how small, would bring us one step closer to getting through this situation.

If you cannot donate, sharing this request would also mean so much.

I am not asking for luxury, extras, or anything unreasonable. I am simply asking for a little help keeping a hardworking father on his feet and helping ensure that my children have a safe and stable place to call home.
